The Chemical Institute of Canada is actively searching for sponsors to help contribute to our outreach programs.

This year, CIC will offer a range of interactive, entertaining and educational activities for all ages with opportunities for participation at the local, regional, and national level. Some of these activities are legacy projects which are carrying over from the International Year of Chemistry (2011) and others are established events that we have been running for years as part of our public understanding of chemistry outreach. The bulk of our programs are being run in the fall during National Chemistry Week (NCW).

The goals of the CIC’s outreach activities are:

to increase the public appreciation of chemistry in meeting world needs;
to encourage interest in chemistry among young people;
to generate enthusiasm for the creative future of chemistry;
