Edmonton Local Section of the Canadian Society for Chemical Engineering

Who we are:

The Edmonton Local Section of the Canadian Society for Chemical Engineering is a network of volunteers for northern Alberta, north of and including Red Deer. It is set up jointly with the American Institute of Chemical Engineering Edmonton Local Chapter. The purpose of the Local Sections of the Canadian Society for Chemical Engineering is to bring together individuals who live, work or study in the same region and who share an interest in chemical engineering, in order to create networking opportunities and to encourage productive sharing of ideas.

What we do:

  • We host public lectures;
  • We present courses;
  • We present awards;
  • We support student awards and participation;
  • We participate in outreach events.

How Can You Be Involved?

To become a member of the Edmonton CSChE Local Section, simply fill out your application for membership in the Chemical Institute of Canada and you will be assigned a Local Section based on your address.
