Terms of Reference

This award is for student papers presented in chemical education sessions at the CSCT student symposia.

Sponsor: CIC Chemical Education Division

Awards:

First prize: $350 and a certificate
Second prize: $150 and a certificate

Eligibility: This competition is open to students presenting an oral paper at the CSCT student symposia.

The prize is intended to encourage students to present papers of general interest concerning the following:

• Critical evaluation of their educational experiences;
• Innovative learning/teaching strategies and materials;
• Other topics that address chemical or chemical engineering technology education.

A panel appointed by the program chair of the CED at the CSC conference, or the student regional conferences.

All abstracts should be submitted to the local symposium organizers.
