Accreditation CSCT Accreditation
The CSCT Board has representation on the Canadian Council of Technologists and Technicians (CCTT)’s Canadian Technology Accreditation Board (CTAB). CTAB determines the criteria required for accrediting technology and technician programs and carries out the accreditation process.
The CSCT signed a Memorandum of Understanding
with the Canadian Technology Accreditation Board, promoting joint
initiatives with respect to accreditation of chemical technology related programs.
CCTT, in partnership with the National Council of Deans of Technology (NCDoT), has developed new outcome-based requirements for national accreditation, to replace the course-by-course system previously used. The new criteria are known as National Technology Benchmarks. The CSCT participated in defining the criteria required for accrediting chemical technology-related programs.
