Science Fairs

Get involved in science. Science fairs provide an excellent opportunity to get started in discovering more about the world around us. There is no end to the types of experiments and research that can be carried out.

Regional and Canada Wide Science Fair

Students from over 100 regional science fairs display their science fair projects in March and April of each year. The top students from each region will move on to participate in the Canada–Wide Science Fair hosted in May. CIC’s Local Sections provide judges and prize money for many of these regional science fairs. Visit Youth Science Foundation to find out what’s taking place in your region.

Canada–Wide Virtual Science Fair

Students from kindergarten to grade 12 are invited to participate in the Canada–Wide Virtual Science Fair. Seed money to start up this event was provided by the CIC. Participate in the Virtual Science Fair.
