The CIC Awards program recognizes overall contributions by chemists, chemical engineers and chemical technologists for their research and their work in the chemical community. It also recognizes outstanding individuals within individual fields through CIC Division awards.

- Catalysis Award: Presented to an individual who, while resident in Canada, has made a distinguished contribution to the field of catalysis.
- CIC Award for Chemical Education: Presented as a mark of recognition for an outstanding contribution in Canada to education at the post-secondary level in the field of chemistry or chemical engineering.
- CIC Award for High School/CÉGEP Chemistry Teachers: This award is is presented in recognition of excellence in teaching chemistry at the high school or Cégep level and to encourage and promote chemistry at the high school and Cégep level in Canada.
- CIC Medal: Presented as a mark of distinction and recognition to a person who has made an outstanding contribution to the science of chemistry or chemical engineering in Canada.
- Environment Division R&D Award: Presented for distinguished contributions to research and/or development in the fields of environmental chemistry or environmental chemical engineering, while working in Canada.
- Macromolecular Science and Engineering Award: Presented to an individual who, while residing in Canada, has made a distinguished contribution to macromolecular science or engineering.
- Montreal Medal: Presented as a mark of distinction and honour to a resident of Canada for an outstanding contribution to the profession of chemistry or chemical engineering in Canada.
